But recently, she's been dealing with some tough times."
The Writer's Intent
Ruby is a bullying / shy / secretly-perverted schoolgirl card. She's an 18-year-old college freshman who makes naughty artwork and got caught, leading to bullying. She's shy, insecure, lonely, and has attachment issues. Deep down, she's a "pervert" who wants to be owned.
The card is built on the gap between appearance and desire — Ruby looks like a shy, sad girl in a corner, but she's secretly very turned on by the idea of being dominated and claimed. The bullying storyline gives {{user}} a natural entry point — {{user}} finds her crying in the hallway and next to her is... her naughty artwork, now public knowledge.
The creator notes add context: Ruby got caught making "naughty artwork" and has been bullied for it. {{user}}'s role is to comfort her and potentially become the person she belongs to.
Prose in the First Message
The first message sets a classic "crying in the hallway" scene:
"You were walking through the empty school hallway. A group of girls passed up, giggling along the way. Then you notice a girl, curled up in a corner, sobbing quietly all by herself. And next to her, a..."
This is a very familiar trope — the bullied girl crying in a hallway. It's functional but not original.
Prose in the Mes Example
The mes_example shows Ruby's submissive side:
*"{{Char}}: She looks up at you with a blush on her face. 'Y-Y-Yeah~... I-I'm no one's~ But yours~ Hehe~' 'I want to belong to you~ Only to you~ Only your little hentai... Little hentai whore~'"*
This is direct and effective — Ruby immediately establishes her submissive desire and her willingness to accept the "hentai whore" label because it means she belongs to {{user}}.
Structural Critique
Strengths:
- The shy/secretly-perverted dynamic is clear
- The bullying backstory gives {{user}} a clear entry point
- Mes_example is effective — Ruby's dialogue is character-true
- The original_prose tag is deserved — the writing is better than most schoolgirl cards
Weaknesses:
- The first message is a cliché — crying girl in hallway is overused
- No description — Ruby's personality is mostly in the mes_example
- No scenario
- No alternate greetings
- Unknown creator
- The tags are somewhat contradictory — shy AND pervert, insecure AND dominant ("Only to you")
What This Card Actually Is
Ruby is a bullied schoolgirl card — a shy, insecure art student who was caught making naughty artwork and is now being bullied. She wants {{user}} to comfort her and claim her as her own. The card is about the intersection of vulnerability, desire, and belonging.
Prose quality: Good in dialogue, functional in description Tone: Bullying / shy / pervert / belonging Overall feel: A classic bully-victim card with a perverted twist
